What can I expect?

We are a group of people committed to loving Jesus in all things we do. We sing and we pray together. We listen and we learn together. We laugh and we cry together. We understand that the church is not a building or a place. It is a people. And we are like family at New Canaan. You are welcome here.

Our lead pastor, Justin Harris has a gift of diving deep into the Scriptures. If you are longing to hear how God’s Word is still speaking to us today, this is the place for you.  You can meet the rest of our staff in our about section.

What about my kids?

Jesus said Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. so we have upgraded our children’s offerings significantly and are still looking for future improvement.

When you arrive, you will be asked to check-in your child. We will print off a security label for your child and you, this way the only person who can pick up them up after service is you. All of our volunteers who work directly with children have been screened and have passed a background check.

Pro Tip: If you are visiting with us for the first time, you can skip the initial sign-up by pre-registering your kids at the button below. Then you can just breeze through by using a self check-in station with your phone number!

HEALTH & SAFETY

Our community isn’t experiencing any epidemic outbreaks at the moment, so we have relaxed on some requirements. See below:

Want to wear a mask? Bring it!

We won’t look at you funny, if you want to wear one, that is your choice!

Seating is not currently being distanced

However, it would probably be best to not crowd people.

Use hand sanitizer and wash your hands

Spread Jesus, not germs! Wash your hands often and use hand sanitizer after handshakes or hugs.

If you feel sick, stay home & watch online

Online services are here to stay, forever. If your sick, regardless of what bug you’ve got, you can keep it to yourself and watch from home.
